Virtual Conference rooms

Virtual meeting rooms are available to AU staff.

AU IT recommends that you use a virtual meeting room if the meeting has more than two participants who are located in more than two rooms with video conferencing equipment.

How to use a virtual meeting room:

  1. Book a virtual meeting room in Outlook. The virtual meeting rooms have the numbers 1001 to 1019.

  2. Choose how you want to make the call (from a PC/Mac, tablet or smartphone)

a. Via a browser (AU IT recommends Google Chrome). Go to https://vmeet.au.dk and enter the
virtual meeting room’s four-digit number and your name. Click Connect.

b. Via video conferencing equipment in a room at AU: Call the meeting room’s four-digit number.

c. Via video conferencing equipment in a room outside AU: Call the meeting room’s four-digit
number followed by @vmeet.au.dk. For example 1001@vmeet.au.dk.

d. Via Pexip Infinity Connect client/app (available for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Android and
iOS): You do not have to register, but just enter your name, choose microphone and audio
output if relevant, and enter the meeting room’s four-digit number followed by @vmeet.au.dk
    (for example 1001@vmeet.au.dk).

See Install guides for Pexip for Mobile phone app and Desktop.

e. Via Skype for Business. Call the meeting room’s four-digit number followed by @vmeet.au.dk
    (for example 1001@vmeet.au.dk).
