Open/closed calendar

It has been decided that all staff members' calendars in the shared email and calendar system must be open.

This means that all staff members can see the following:

  • In Outlook 2013 and 2016:
    • Time of the meeting/appointment, place and subject.
    • Others cannot see the content of the meeting, the list of participants and/or attachments.
    • If a meeting/an appointment should not be visible to all, you will have to mark it as 'private.
  • In Outlook 2016 for Mac:
    • Time of the meeting/appointment (can only be viewed under the tab 'Scheduling Assistant' in a meeting request).
    • Others cannot see the content of the meeting, the list of participants and/or attachments.
    • if a meeting/an appointment should not be visible to all, you will have to mark it as 'private'.

The staff member is able to adjust these settings and add deputies, etc.
