What is personal display data?

Personal display data is used for e.g. employee lists on AU's websites, in PURE and on your personal website.

When you have a registered email address at AU you also have a personal website. You can find your personal website by searching your name on www.au.dk/en/findperson. Read more about your website here.

Your personal website will as a minimum include the following:

  • Name
  • Unit
  • Address, building number, room number
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Function title

Your name will generally be your full name (as stated in the civil registration register). You can change it (remove any middle names which you do not use etc.) by changing your display name.

Immediate management is responsible for the correctness of data about persons and organisation in AU's IT systems. This means that department heads, centre directors, deputy directors and senior advisers in the deans' offices will have responsibility for the data. In practice, it is expected that this responsibility will be delegated to one or more persons in a secretariat function.

You can find your local personal data editor by contacting your:

  • Department secretariat
  • Centre secretariat
  • Dean's office (for technical and administrative staff in the dean's offices)
  • The administrative staff in your deputy director area (not the HR partner)
  • Your immediate superior
