Remember the new rules for compliance with requirements for re-examinations

The summer exams have now started and Arts Studies Administration is reminding you that there are new rules covering student compliance with requirements for re-examinations.

The new rules mean that students who need to comply with certain requirements for re-examinations in August must demonstrate this compliance at the same time as they register for re-examinations this summer.

Example:

  • A student fails the ordinary exam conducted in June 2018.
  • The student can register for the re-examination using the deadline stated in the exam plan (short registration deadline), showing their teacher that they comply with the necessary requirements at the same time.
  • The teacher must approve this compliance and inform Arts Studies Administration of their approval before the exam can start.
  • If the teacher approves the student’s compliance, the re-examination will be held in the same semester (August 2018).

If the student has registered for a re-examination in a previous exam period,Arts Studies Administration will have contacted them already to remind them that they need to gain approval of compliance with requirements before the exam can start.

This means that some students may already have contacted their teacher for this purpose.

Teachers are welcome to contact Arts Studies Administration if they have any questions. Contact: Julie Zederkof (j.zederkof@au.dk)
