InDesign templates

Using templates

When using the templates in InDesign, please note:

  • The templates are organised in layers (logos in one layer, images in another layer, etc.) For this reason, keep your layer panel open.
  • Some objects in the templates are locked, seeing as you should not make changes to these objects. For instance, the orange mini triangle.
  • The typography in the templates is AU Passata. Some computers might have older versions of AU Passata, resulting in use of the wrong font. For this reason, always check that you are using AU Passata.
  • Not all templates contain all design options, as the individual templates are built to fit specific purposes and functions – e.g. a flyer versus the front page of a publication – which need different amounts of text etc.
