Info about event

Time

Wednesday 9 August 2017,  at 17:20 - 21:00

The evacuation of 338,226 men in nine days over the English Channel. This is the topic of Christopher Nolan’s war film “Dunkirk”. Christopher Nolan might just be the greatest film director of his generation with the blockbusters “Inception”, “Interstellar” and “The Dark Knight”-trilogy on his CV.

The Battle of Dunkirk is one of the crucial events of the Second World War, and before we watch the film, Associate Professor Niels Wium Olesen will make us all a bit wiser on the events leading up to the battle. In this way, we can watch the film from an appropriately critical perspective together with our colleagues from ARTS.

All of this for the great price of DKK 50. It is allowed to bring one companion to the event.

Venue: Cinemaxx, Bruuns Galleri

  • 17:20 We will meet at the ticket sales office
  • 17:30 The lecture begins (in Danish)
  • 18:30 Break and distribution of tickets at Cinemaxx’s ticket sales office.
