Aarhus BSS is now initiating a broad consultation process in which all employees and students are able to provide input on Campus 2.0 and the new University City. Here all the school’s activities in Aarhus are gathered across Nørrebrogade when the Department of Management and the Department of Economics and Business Economics - along with a number of administrative functions - will move from Fuglesangs Allé - in 2022-24 according to the plan.

During the autumn, a number of meetings will be held at the departments, in the administration, in the school’s local liaison committee, the occupational health and safety committee and the Academic Council, etc. In addition, the school’s student associations, the student vice-chairs in the boards of studies and the student representatives in the Academic Council will be invited to a general meeting with the dean and the vice-dean for education in September.

Dean Thomas Pallesen is encouraging all employees and students to take part in the consultation process and provide input on the future needs of the new premises in the University City:

“Although only two of our departments are moving, the new premises are meant to benefit all of us,” he says. “For this reason I hope that a lot of people will take the opportunity to provide input. Both in terms of what needs we need to cover and in terms of creating a coherent school across Nørrebrogade. It’s not often that you get a chance to put your mark on the future organisation of the school and the university as such.”

The consultation process runs until 1 November. Then all input is gathered in a consultation response, which is submitted to Rector Brian Bech Nielsen. Thus they will form part of the board’s final decision in December of the overall organisation of Campus 2.0.

Employees and students are already able to provide input on AU's central page on Campus 2.0.
