Definition of peer-review:

”A publication is peer reviewed when a professional review and evaluation of a publication by competent/expert colleagues is done, prior to acceptance in a journal. Peer reviews can be anonymous or be done by editorial staff. Dependent on different traditions, the way it is done may vary.”

RESEARCH

Contribution to journal

A journal is published in a consecutive number of volumes / issues, as a series with the same journal title. The journal series will usually have a ISSN-number. The ISSN-number is an international identification number that consists of 8 digits. ISSN is always notated in two groups, that each consists of 4 digits with a dash separating them, and with the letters ISSN in front (e.g. ”ISSN 1234-5678”).
