Author Groups

In some publications, in addition to the authors, the author list might indicate a research group (consortium, committee, study group), where AU researchers may be members and would therefore like to have these publications on their websites. Likewise, an institute or a department may be interested in displaying such publications.

An example:

In this case, there are no AU-authors, but three AU researchers are part of IeDEA West Africa Collaboration (as evidenced in the article itself (in this case, under 'additional file') and via PubMed):

  • Lars Jørgen Østergaard, Department of Clinical Medicine - Department of Infectious Diseases Q, SKS
  • Christian Erikstrup, Department of Clinical Medicine - Department of Clinical Immunology, SKS
  • Alex Lund Laursen, Department of Clinical Medicine - Department of Infectious Diseases Q, SKS

Author groups are added to PURE as shown below, and the members that you want to register (AU-internal authors) are added manually in parenthesis, followed by 'member(s)', as in the example.

For the publication to appear on these members’ (and their organizations) web pages, they must then be added individually (but they should be hidden so that they do not appear separately on the author list). Lastly, the role should be changed from author to editor, so no BFI points are triggered.
