Would you like to relay your research results at the Festival of Research 2012 at Aarhus University?
We need your research, your experience and your ideas when the Festival of Research kicks off on Friday 20 April 2012 between 13.00 and 18.00 with the theme EUROPE.
2012.02.02
At the Festival of Research, the lecture theatres and foyer area in the middle of the University Park around the Department of Mathematics, building 1530, will be turned into a bubbling cauldron of fun and interesting presentations and demonstrations of Aarhus University’s research.
This year’s theme – EUROPE – paves the way for a wide range of research fields in all the four main academic areas. To take charge of the planning, we have appointed a working group cutting across all four new main academic areas. This working group attends to contacting the researchers, as well as the planning and practical work involved in holding the Festival of Research. As a researcher, you are only expected to take part with your own academic contribution on the day itself – 20 April – in an activity such as a speed lecture, hands-on presentation, experiment, exhibition or other initiative.
You are also welcome to think in a cross-disciplinary way, which includes considering the option of setting up a panel debate cutting across your subject. If you also have any good ideas regarding other forms of activities, these are most welcome.
The event at Aarhus University takes place on Friday 20 April at 13-00–18.00 in the lecture theatres and foyer area around the Department of Mathematics, building 1530
