When you are travelling by train to or within countries abroad, AU recommends that you book your trip through one of our travel partners:
If you need to book tickets for buses and/or ferries abroad as well, Togrejse.dk can also help you with this.
1st class
When selecting travel class (1st class or 2nd class), according to Aarhus University's travel policy, you should choose the option that is most appropriate and economical for Aarhus University in the specific situation. It is recommended that you check the price difference between 1st and 2nd class train tickets when booking the trip, because the difference is often relatively small when travelling abroad.
Togrejse.dk specialises in train journeys (both day trains and night trains) in many parts of the world – also outside the big cities.
Togrejse.dk has no restrictions on the number of tickets purchased under the same order.
Contact Togrejse.dk in writing (using a special online AU form). It is recommended that you use the form so you have the correspondence in writing. Read more about Togrejse.dk.
