Terms and conditions for course registration

On this page, you can find information on how to register and pay for courses at Aarhus University, including binding periods for registration. You can also find practical information on how the courses are run.

Registration and payment

Registration takes place via the registration button on the individual course webpages. If a course is full, you will be offered a place on the waiting list. If a place becomes available, you will receive an automatic message offering you a place. You must confirm within 24 hours if you wish to accept this place.

When you register, please provide the EAN number to which the invoice should be sent and the relevant invoicing information (project number and activity number).

  • Find your EAN number HERE
  • If you need help finding invoicing information, you can contact your local finance department – find the relevant contact person
  • The invoice will be sent to your department automatically at the end of the course

Registration is binding

Once you have registered for a course via AU’s website, you have a statutory right of withdrawal for 14 days, calculated from the day you receive your email receipt. To enable courses to be planned properly, your statutory right of withdrawal will lapse if you register for a course later than 14 days before the course is due to start. If you are unable to participate in a course despite your binding registration, please cancel your registration by writing to kompentenceudvikling@au.dk.

In the event of cancellation after the 14-day statutory withdrawal period or later than 14 days before the first day of the course, the course must still be paid for in full. To avoid this money being wasted, you are welcome to send a colleague in your place. If you wish to do so, please send an email to kompentenceudvikling@au.dk.
