If you conduct experiments in connection with health science research, your test subjects can apply to Patienterstatningen (The Patient Compensation Association) for compensation in the event of an injury.

As an employee of Aarhus University, if you conduct experiments in connection with health science research, and if you become aware that a test subject has been injured in connection with the experiment, you have to draw up a memo describing the incident. This memo can be used in connection with any subsequent processing of the case.
