IT maintenance work will affect AU’s IT systems and services and cause interruptions at different times during the weekend of 23 - 24 April 2022.
In 2025, a new partner house for SMEs and organisations and foundations that collaborate with Aarhus University will open its doors in the University City – bringing external partners even closer to the university’s research and knowledge.
What are AU’s visions for using digital elements in teaching? And what will it take to realise them? These were some of the central questions debated at a workshop on 21 March where participants shared experiences and ideas in a lively exchange. The many ideas that arose from their dialogue will be drawn on going forward as the university works to formulate university wide principles for Educational IT at AU.
The seven remaining parties behind the relocation agreement have reached an agreement on the shape of the Danish educational landscape of the future. Under the agreement, AU will expand in Herning and build a campus in Foulum near Viborg while also downsizing a number of degree programmes.

Ground has been broken on a major new construction project on the new University City campus. The new 37,000 m2 building will include study, research and teaching facilities for Aarhus BSS as well as a large round lecture theatre with seating for 800. The new facilities will be taken into use in 2025.
