The Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten has just launched a science magazine called Newton. The newspaper is therefore looking for good stories from researchers at Aarhus University.

Honorary award for visionary Director of Studies at Health

Associate Professor, PhD, Anne Mette Mørcke has recently spearheaded a major reform of the MSc programme in medicine. She is now being honoured for her dedicated efforts as Director of Studies at Health with the Aarhus University Anniversary Foundation’s Honorary Award in Education.

Communication award to Aarhus professor

On 9 September, Professor Klaus G. Grunert from Aarhus University, Business and Social Sciences, is being awarded the 2011 Aarhus University Anniversary Foundation’s Communication Award for his long-standing work on communicating research results within the marketing of food products to the food industry.

Dorthe B. Ravnsbæk awarded Aarhus University’s special travel grant

After having received the European Young Researchers’ Award following a unanimous decision by the Euroscience selection committee, 28-year-old PhD student Dorthe B. Ravnsbæk is now honoured specially by Aarhus University.
