Board of studies

All degree programmes at Aarhus University are affiliated with a board of studies. The boards are responsible for the academic development and quality assurance of the Department's degree programmes. The Board of Studies' Executive Committee is responsible for processing students' applications for credit transfer, advance approval and applications for dispensation.

The four Boards of Studies at the Faculty of Arts:

      Each board of studies appoint degree programme committee (UNs) for groups of programs or the individual study programs.

       

      Employer panels

      The emplyer panels provide advice on the quality of education and quality development through the development of new and existing programmes. This work involves ongoing dialogue on the needs of the labour market. The employer panels have been set up in connection with the boards of studies.

      Degree programme committee

      Each board of studies appoint degree programme committee (UNs) for groups of programs or the individual study programs.

      The degree programme committees purpose is to ensure that the academic basis and make room for course-specific discussions between students and teachers.
