5-year AACSB accreditation in place

One year after AASCB decided to extend the accreditation process at Aarhus BSS, the school has once again been awarded the 5-year AASCB accreditation. In order to be re-accredited, the school has had to document a more systematic quality assurance of the students’ achievement of the degree programme learning goals. These efforts have now been successful, and from now on, the achievement of selected learning goals will be an integrated part of the school’s 5-year degree programme evaluations.

In its response to Aarhus BSS, the peer review team emphasised aspects such as the school’s interdisciplinary and cutting-edge approach to business education, the well-advanced level of IT-related teaching and learning, and the investments in BTECH. The team also emphasised the interdisciplinary collaboration that takes place in e.g. the Crown Prince Frederik Center for Public Leadership and in the school’s many other collaboration arrangements with leading international universities all over the world.

The 5-year AACSB accreditation runs until 2024. The next AACSB accreditation visit is expected to take place in spring 2024.

• The accreditation is awarded for five years at a time, and the school has been AACSB accredited since 2013.
