Podcasts in the time of corona

Thanks to a number of researchers from across the school, Aarhus BSS is now publishing three special editions of its Danish podcast series Det Videnskabelige Kvarter. The topic is the coronavirus crisis with a focus on behaviour, management and economics.

Only a week ago, a number of researchers at Aarhus BSS received an email asking them if they would like to take part in a special edition of the school’s podcast series. Luckily they said yes and thus agreed to be interviewed with very short notice over the phone or at their computer at home.

The result is three podcasts in total. The topics covered include how the crisis will affect business and industry, international trade and Danish employment. The listeners will also get an insight into why (or why not) we as humans do as the Prime Minister and the politicians say we should do in a crisis situation. Finally, listeners will also get good advice on how they - as managers or leaders - can maintain a sense of community among their employees when everyone is working from home.

The purpose of the special edition is to underline Aarhus BSS’ position as a relevant actor delivering relevant knowledge for society and the surrounding business community. And an actor whose academic breadth makes it possible to view the crisis that our society is currently facing from a number of perspectives.

Thank you Torben M. Andersen, Philipp Schröder, Lotte Bøgh Andersen, Winni Johansen, Michael Bang Petersen, Gert Tinggaard Svendsen and Jørgen Albæk Jensen for participating.

You will find the three podcasts here (in Danish only).
