1. Presentation of new structure for the staff association and vote

The board shortly explained the background for suggesting af new structure for the staff association including the consequences of the new structure for members – cancellation of membership subscription, as all BSS-employees are automatically members of the association. Part-time employees and retired employees can still become members by purchasing a membership through the AU webshop. Former BSS employees that wishes to continue their membership must actively sign up for one year at the time by purchasing a membership through the AU webshop.

The proposal for the new structure was carried unanimously by the general assembly, however the board was encouraged to make a written contract with the dean in order to confirm the financial support to the staff association.

 

2. Changes of the constitution

The board suggested changes to the constitution that had to be made because of the changes of structure of the Staff Association.

3. Presentation of the spring programme

As the last item on the agenda, the spring programme was presented. Time and place have already been scheduled for some of the events and the rest is following shortly.

• 21 Februar 2015: Visit to one of Europe's largest car collections
• 26 Februar 2015: Wine tasting, cheese and charcuterie
• March 2015: Guided tour of Moesgaard Museum
• March 2015: Gokart racing
• 18 March 2015: BSS revue
• April: General Assembly and a tasting event
• April/May: Moesgaard Museum Special Exhibition: The Terracotta Warriors of China
• April 2015: ”Scissor kicks, greasy hair and red cards” - Argentinian wine, steak and football event with an entertaining lecture by football commentators Jonas Schwarz and Niels Christian Frederiksen.
• 8 May 2015: Spring Party for BSS Employees
• June: Aarhus Searangers tour of the bay
• 8 June: BSS annual football tournament and Champions League final
• 18 June: "Clown and Ice Cream" - the traditional summer event for members and their families
