Courses in Pure 2018

During 2019 we offer three intro courses, with a focus on how to add new content to Pure and personal AU homepages. It is mainly for new Pure users and anyone who needs a brush-up, but it's open for all to attend.

Below you can find the slides we will go through on the day. Unless otherwise stated, the courses will be in danish.

The first course will be in the spring, one in late summer and one course in early December will be held in extension of our yearly Pure briefings, read more about the briefings here.

Besides our regular courses, you can book a course by writing to the Pure Support through the link below. A faculty representative from AU Library will get back to you to finalise the details.

Validator workshop 2019

On January 23rd we will host a validator workshop. Here, the faculty representatives from AU Library will offer assistance to particularly difficult registrations, as well as provide general guidance on the validation process. The workshop is intended exclusively for employees who have the role of validator in Pure and will be held in danish.

The workshop will be held at the University hospital in Skejby, room Sydsporet C114-104

The day is split into two identical sessions:

  • 09.00-11.30
  • 12.00-14.30

Both sessions will begin with these brief presentations:

  • Changes til validation in Pure (5 minutes)
  • Validation checklist walkthrough (5 minutes)
  • Quality assurance in SP/Pure (5 minutes)

The rest of the time is reserved for your questions and concrete issues.

We will provide coffee and cake, please bring your own computer.

BFI and Open Access briefings 2018

On December 5 and 6, briefings will be held about BFI (the bibliometric research indicator) and Open Access (OA) in PURE. The briefings will focus on the relationship between PURE and BFI, including criteria for awarding BFI points to publications, and OA enrichment in PURE and the National OA Barometer.

The briefings are open to employees from all departments and caters primarily to employees (both academic and administrative staff) who want to know more about BFI and OA and/or work with registration or validation of publications in PURE.

Two briefings will be held - and both will be live streamed, so employees unable to attend in person can follow as well.

Health network meeting 2018

AU Library, Health annually organizes a network meeting based on relevant topics for the registration and validation of publications on Health, as well as specific questions from the participants. The meeting is specifically addressed to validators, but all interested are welcome.

The agenda is open as usual and everyone is welcome with input.

The network meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 11, at. 13.00-15.00, in the Blue Auditorium, Victor Albeck Building, Vennelyst Boulevard 4, 8000 Aarhus.
