Distinguished Alumni
Since 1928, Aarhus University has celebrated its anniversary with the annual celebration. On the occasion of its 80th anniversary in 2008, the university established a distinguished alumnus award, which honours a graduate of Aarhus University. Each year, the award is given to somebody who has made an extraordinary contribution to the national or international community and who has drawn positive attention to his or her field and the university.
