Board of studies and degree programme committees
The aim of the boards of studies is to ensure the planning, implementation and development of degree programmes and teaching. This includes follow-up on teaching evaluations, drawing up proposals for academic regulations, and considering applications for credit transfers and exemptions.
Under each board of studies, there are a number of degree programme committees (called UFUs in Danish). The degree programme committees represent the different degree programmes and academic environments at the departments. Their aim is to ensure the quality and development of degree programmes, including the involvement of relevant external stakeholders.
The boards of studies consist of:
- Representatives of the academic staff, including employed PhD students, who are elected for three years at a time.
- Student representatives, who are elected for one-year terms.
