SDG Network

Building SDG networks between AU, public stakeholders and private companies

On February 4 2019, Aarhus University organized a conference on the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with focus on the development of sustainable solutions in partnerships between the university, public stakeholders and private companies.

To support collaboration ideas that supports the 17 SDG Goals, The Committee for Research and External Cooperation decided to fund 2-3 SDG networks based on partnerships between Aarhus University, public stakeholders and private companies.

12 applicants had presented collaboration-based projects at the deadline and the Committee for Research and External Cooperation will now asses and evaluate the applicants based on the evaluation criteria for selection of proposals.

Activities funded through this call are to have a university broad appeal and involve at least two faculties. Networks must address one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. A key priority is to demonstrate a potential for attracting additional external funding of network activities and ensuring sustainability and impact beyond the funding period.

The Committee for Research and External Cooperation will announce the successful SDG Network proposals late April 2019.
