This year the conference will focus on evidence on schooling and wellbeing. There will be a combination of invited international keynote speakers and contributed papers and the newest results of Danish school research will also be presented.

TrygFonden’s Centre for Child Research is an interdisciplinary research centre that builds on various academic areas and the conference will bring together contributions from the fields of economics, pedagogy, psychology, public policy, sociology and other related fields.

International and national researchers, practitioners and policymakers will be represented among the participants and topics such as school governance, school consolidation, school resources, inclusive education, social and anti-social behaviour in schools will be debated.

TrygFonden's Centre for Child Research seeks to strengthen the effectiveness of social policies targeting children and youth in Denmark and the conference will provide a debate about what works and what doesn't work when it comes to school provision.
