It’s time to apply for pay increases
In the period 8 - 28 February 2016, employees can apply for pay increases on the basis of their performance in the period 1 April 2015 - 31 March 2016.
If you wish to apply for a pay increase, you must send an application form to your union representative. On the form, you should describe your performance and/or the competencies you have acquired which in your opinion should be compensated with a pay increase.
The supplements you can apply for are qualification supplements, supplements for responsibilities and one-time bonuses. Read more about the different supplements here.
Who will be negotiating my pay?
After you submit your application, your union representative will sit down at the negotiating table with your manager and discuss the possibilities. You will be notified of the outcome of the negotiations as soon as pay negotiations are concluded for your entire department/Faculty of Arts school/centre, administrative division or administrative centre.
Some employees have the option of negotiating their pay themselves: special consultants and senior consultants, professors, journalists and employees covered by the executive pay agreement. This is governed by the collective agreements.
Pay increase budget
The proportion of the salary budget allocated to pay negotiations for the period 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2016 is 0.40 per cent for pay increases and 0.20 per cent for one-off bonuses.
Disbursement of pay increases
Pay increases will be paid out in June/July 2016. Schedule for 2016 pay increase negotiations (PDF).
