New acting management in Finance and Planning
When Deputy Director Søren Trangbæk takes up the position of financial director of the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization as of 1 January 2014, managerial responsibility for AU Finance and Planning will temporarily be shared by Charlotte Lyngholm, Anette Svejstrup, Morten Vils Sørensen and Jørgen Jørgensen.
Deputy Director Søren Trangbæk has a new job. He takes up the position as Financial Director of the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization as of 1 January, 2014.
That his job change is announced at the same time as the budget cuts at AU is purely coincidental.
“There is no correlation between AU’s financial situation and my job change. I have been negotiating with the Danish Defence for a long time about the position as Financial Director. I will be on the executive board of the the Acquisition and Logistics Organization, and it was an offer I couldn’t refuse,” says Søren Trangbæk.
Søren Trangbæk took up his position as Deputy Director of AU Finance and Planning in 2009.
“I have had some very exciting years at AU, and I have enjoyed working with so many skilled and engaged employees and managers. I will definitely miss them,” says Søren Trangbæk.
Until the position of deputy director has been filled, the overall management of AU Finance and Planning will be handled in the following way:
- Planning Manager Charlotte Lyngholm will head AU Planning.
- Anette Svejstrup, head of Financial Control, Morten Vils Sørensen, senior consultant, and Jørgen Jørgensen, university director, will share managerial responsibility for AU Finance.
The framework for this cooperation and other organisational details will be decided as soon as possible, and the position of deputy director of AU Finance and Planning will be advertised in the new year.
