Payroll for salaried employees now handled by the main areas

As from 22 March 2013, the HR functions at Science and Technology and the School of Business and Social Sciences will be handling payroll for salaried staff members at these two main academic areas. This means that payroll processing of salaried employees has now been decentralised for all AU's main areas.

Payroll processing of salaried employees has been decentralised at Aarhus University. The HR functions at Arts and Health and at AU Administration have been handling payroll processing of salaried employees at the two main academic areas and in the administration since 26 February 2013. As from 22 March 2013, payroll processing will be decentralised for the last two main academic areas, Science and Technology and the School of Business and Social Sciences.

In future, all salaried employees must therefore contact their local HR department if they have any questions regarding their pay. This does not apply to hourly paid staff, public servants and PhD students who still have to contact the central AU HR Payroll Office.

All payroll employees are dedicated to providing a high level of service. Should irregularities unexpectedly occur in the transition period, our payroll employees will of course do everything in their power to sort out any problems as swiftly as possible.
