Taking a closer look at the academic development process

A thorough review of the academic development process will now take place, and the Board has adopted changes in the structure of the core activity committees and has decided to establish a new position: pro-rector for education.

The senior management team has appointed a panel and a group of experts to analyse the problems associated with the academic development process, with how the administration supports the departments, and how the main academic areas are organised.  The analysis will be completed in the course of the spring. The university will also hire a pro-rector for education, and the existing four core activity committees will be reduced to two: a committee for research and a committee for education.
