The new deputy director of AU HR is Anne Lindholm Behnk
Anne Lindholm Behnk has been chosen as the new deputy director of AU HR. She will take up the position on 1 November.
A unanimous appointment committee headed by Rector and acting director of Aarhus University Brian Bech Nielsen has selected Anne Lindholm Behnk as the new deputy director of AU HR. There were 29 applicants for the position.
"Anne Lindholm Behnk is extremely competent and committed. She has the right profile both professionally and personally to fill the position of deputy director of this division, and I am very much looking forward to working with Anne," says Brian Bech Nielsen.
Anne Lindholm Behnk has more than 20 years of experience with HR from companies including LEGO and Arla, 15 years of experience with management, and a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Copenhagen Business School. She has served as manager of the Organisational Development and Working Environment unit in AU HR, and has been serving as acting deputy director of AU HR since 1 August.
She will draw on the experience she has gained in this capacity in her new job.
"Aarhus University is a really good place to work, and I think that we have good opportunities to become even better,“ says Behnk, and continues: “There are some structural and cultural initiatives we can take together to ensure success with the university’s core activities. HR can contribute to the important balance between goals, tasks, resources, organisation and people in each unit and across the university as a whole to ensure both our well-being and and high performance.” Behnk defines AU HR’s task as ensuring reliable day-to-day operations and HR services that are relevant and in demand.
Behnk will be responsible for HR staff in the central administration and for collaboration with HR partners and HR supporters at the administrative centres.
