Reporting on external collaborations

From 2024 it is possible to report on external collaborations!

Several thousand research outputs are published annually from scientists at Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital. A large part of these have been prepared in collaboration with authors from other universities, hospitals, companies, etc. Until now, it has not been possible to report meaningfully on these collaborations, as the data basis has been of low quality.

Since the fall of 2023, the Pure team has been working diligently to clean up external organizations that are constantly flowing into Pure through manual creation and import. We have not finished work on all external organisations, but the data quality of the external organisations is now so good that it is possible to create valid reports showing collaborations by type of organisation or specific external organisations for 2024 research output and onwards.

In our day-to-day operations, we prioritise the quality of the external organisations featured in recent publications. Thus, we expect that by the end of the registration year, there will be no unapproved external organizations on any validated 2024 reserach outputs.
