AU Geodata Collection

What is the AU Geodata collection?

AU Geodata is a collection of data with spatial reference produced by AU or others, e.g.: The Danish Geo data Agency, Heritage Agency, Natur og Erhvervsstyrelsen etc.

The data includes: Adminstrative boundaries, historical maps, soil type maps, prehistoric sites, climate data, DEMs, nautical charts, summer ortophotos and much more.

Some of this is open data that is also available from other sources. Some of it is commercial data that has been purchased for use by AU employess under certain conditions. The purpose of the data collection is to facilitate access to spatial data for AU employees: One interface, one user name, one password for the most frequently used data.

You must always check the license terms and credit the data appropriately when using it.

The AU Geo data collection is administered by the AU GIS Committee.

Find the AU geodata collection on the O: drive - O:\AUIT_Geodata
