GIS seminar 2013, Lake Audituriums, November 12, 2013
This year's focus is again on presenting the diversity of GIS use at Århus University - the use of GIS and related technologies in e.g. remote sensing for water, landscape, land-use, and network analysis, its use in archaeology, engineering, agriculture, computer science and many other interesting areas. The program will allow plenty of time for informal academic and professional networking. The final program will be on display on this website in the beginning of October. We still have a few openings for presentations, so please contact Mette Greve ([email protected]) if you would like to present GIS-related work – finished, on-going or maybe just starting out. If you would like to bring a poster, also contact Mette. Student contributions are welcome. Note: The free seminar is held November 12 from 9.30 – 16 in the Lake auditoriums. Sign up here, we serve bread, coffee, a free sandwich and fruit and encourage professionals and students at all levels to join us for an interesting day of geography.
