How to switch from Concurrent/Single User to "Named User License"

Named User License is the umbrella term for Enterprise license and ArcGIS online license. They are activated in a similar way

Below are the instructions to activate an ArcGIS pro enterprise license. To use ArcGIS online, you can use the same approach, except for using you ArcGIS online user. the URL is "https://www.arcgis.com/"

In ArcGIS Pro

•    Select "Settings"
•    Select "Licensing"
•    Click "Configure your licensing options"
•    Select "Named User License"

•    Select the "ArcGIS Enterprise" option at the bottom of the dialog box and enter in the field: https://augis.au.dk/portal/

(Requires that you been added as Enterprise user. Use https://support.au.dk/CherwellPortal/IT/One-Step/RequestGIS to get added)

•    Click "OK"
•    Enter your"Username" [auID including the AU]@UNI (UNI is case sensitive) and your regular Windows login password in the "Password" field. (the one you use when opening/logging into your computer)

  • Known issues: sometimes the extensions get deactivated: you can solve that by switching the license type (and back)
