Issues Loading .CSV and Excel Files in ArcGIS Pro?

Several users are currently experiencing issues in ArcGIS Pro when attempting to load .csv and Excel files. The problem is caused by compatibility issues in older ArcGIS Pro versions and, in some cases, outdated system components.

To resolve the issue, please upgrade to the newest version of ArcGIS Pro. For the version 3.6 it is recommended to uninstal it first:

  1. Uninstall your current ArcGIS Pro version.
  2. Install the newest ArcGIS Pro version from the internal software repository:
    O:\AUIT_Geodata\Software\Install\ArcGIS Pro 3.6 Remember to update your Data Interoperability or DeepLearningframework as well.
  3. Ensure that your .NET Framework is up to date (included in the same location if needed).
  4. If problems persist, update Microsoft Edge WebView2, which ArcGIS Pro relies on for certain components.
