1. Election of moderator

Jonas K. Fink was chosen as moderator.

2. The board's report (by chairman Jacob Jensen)

  • Number of members:
    We have reached 345 members (342 last year) including 9 senior members, 10 student assistants/part-time employees - and only app. 10 from the former Faculty of Social Sciences.
    It is a challenge for the association to cover the entire BSS: There are regularly focus on the association and our events in the internal newsletter + through contact with department and secretariat managers / middle managers in the administration. We need help from local ambassadors.

  • Events since last annual general meeting:
    Once again, the Staff Association can look back on a year with many very different events and offers. Again, a special thanks to those members who took the initiative to organize and hold events last year: Golf for dummies (Corey Morris), Go-kart rally (Andy Grantham and Corey Morris).

2012:

  • May 13: Football: AGF-Brøndby + Tour of Aarhus Stadion
  • June 13: Football-evening in Klubben: Denmark-Portugal

2013:

+ Friday afternoon in Klubben (every last Friday in the month during the semester)

The ARoS membership continues. The offer is being used a lot, which is why the association have bought 3 extra cards. We now have 6 cards for members to borrow. Svend is in charge of handling  the cards.

  • Goodbye and thank you
    Kirsten Knoth stops as the association's auditor after many years' service. The association has bought her a gift. 
    Jacob Jensen stops as chairman and member of the board after 10 years service (5 as a chairman) to make space for new forces. 

3. Approval of last year's accounts

Good balance and a small surplus of 4,471 DKK – equity increased to 15,047 DKK. However our goal is to maintain a balance - it is not the association's goal of building a large equity! 

It had been approved in advance by the Staff Association's two auditors, Anita Birch Trosborg and Kirsten Knoth.

A big thank you to the Staff Association's two accountants, Anja Mortensen og Marianne Rasmussen.

4. Debate about the association's tasks and proposals from members

Planned events for the rest of the semester:

  • May 30: Boat trip (Vibeke Vrang)
  • June 20: Clown and Icecream
  • August 8: Cirkus Summarum

New ideas from members:

  • Leila Trapp: A musical event where Gary Snider (guitar player) entertains and tells about something with music (I can ask him what he has up his sleeve); A mountain bike course in Marselisborg
  • Jeanette Gunder Madsen: Event with a clairvoyant
  • Mai Britt Feddersen: Repeat intro to meditation
  • Inger Larsen: "Sort sol" in Southern Denmark
  • Mette Gebauer Johannsen: Horseback riding/experiencing the nature of Mols Bjerge
  • Tina Lindhardt: Horse racing

5. This year's membership fee

It was decided to maintain the membership fee:

  • Full-time staff: 20 DKK/month
  • Part-time staff + student assistants: 60 DKK/semester
  • Retired staff: 50 DKK/year (the total amount is paid in connection with enrollment and then once a year).

6. Election of a board with at least 5 members 

Following current members were reelected:

Following new candidates were elected:

7. Election of 2 auditors

Anita Birch Trosborg was re-elected and Peder Harbjerg Nielsen was elected as a new auditor.
