All IT systems at AU Library/State and University Library will be closed from 4th-7th March

Due to a relocation of the server rooms at the State and University Library, all IT systems at the State and University Library and the AU Library will be out of service on Friday, March 4 at 18:00 to Monday, 7 March at 12:00. In addition, the State and University Library will be closed for access on Saturday, March 5.

This means that you will be unable to use the library as normal, and throughout the entire period you will be unable to:

  • Access electronic articles, e-books, databases etc., via the library
  • Search for, and request, materials of any kind
  • Play videos in Kaltura - on the AU's websites or Blackboard
  • Upload videos to Kaltura
  • Use bibliotek.dk to request materials from AU Library service locations

Library.au.dk is not affected by the server move, but you will be unable to perform searches.

If you plan to use the library that weekend, we encourage you to download all relevant material before 18:00 on March 4.

Opening hours and processing times

At the libraries that deliver books to staff members, materials will not be processed until all systems are up and running again. You should therefore expect longer processing times during the days immediately following the shutdown.

The State and University Library will not be answering mails during this period, and there may also be problems contacting the State and University Library by telephone.

You will be able to use the library to collect already processed material, as well as to return items. Emergency loan procedures will be established at all libraries.
