Apply for seed funding for international projects

Staff and students can once again apply for Circle U. seed-funding for their international project ideas. 100,000 euros will be divided between projects that involve at least three Circle U.-partners. Deadline is 23 October 2026 and info meetings are held in August and September.

Do you have a good idea for a project that involves at least 3 universities in the Circle U. alliance? Then why not apply for funding from the Circle U. seed funding scheme. Administrative and academic staff can apply for up to 10,000 euro per project while students can apply for up to 5,000 euro for their projects.

You can apply for funding for activities such as:

  • Educational offers
  • Research projects
  • Workshops and much more

The application deadline is 23 October 2026.

Join an info session on 28 August or 30 September

You can hear more about the 2026 seed funding call at two online info sessions on either 28 August from 12-13 or 30 September from 12-13. You only need to attend one session.

At the info session, you will hear more about the main points of the seed funding call, including eligibility and funding. Successful applicants will share their experiences - and you will have the opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A session.
