Sixty-five applicants to five MSO professorships

Sixty-five applications for MSO (with special responsibilities) professorships at Arts have been received. The new MSO professors will take up their positions at the end of the year.  In June, a committee will assist the dean in assessing applications on the basis of the criteria described in the call for applications.  The members of the committee are Henrik Skov Nielsen, Charlotte Ringsmose, and a member of the Academic Council of the former Faculty of the Theology. An expert appointment committee will be established after the summer holiday. We expect that the appointment process will be complete in November.

Employer panel at the Department of Education abolished

Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Charlotte Sahl-Madsen has revoked Ministerial Order no. 1643 of December 2006 on University Governance. As of 1 June 2011, employer panels will no longer be a legal requirement at the Department of Education. A dialogue forum which includes the Danish Union of Teachers, the Danish Union of Early Childhood and Youth Educators (BUPL), the Confederation of Professionals in Denmark (FTF), and the rectors of the professional university colleges will be established instead. In cooperation with the dean, newly appointed department head Hanne Løngreen will take the initiative to establish the dialogue forum.

Call for proposals for new research centres

Café meetings in Aarhus and Emdrup

The Dean's Office invites staff and students to café meetings on the implementation of the Tomorrow's AU plan at Arts on 23 and 24 March.

Research management course at CBS-SIMI Executive

Research managers are eligible for the CBS-SIMI Executive Research Management Course which starts in November 2011. The course can accommodate ten research managers and will be held in Danish.
