Bring your research to life: Be part of the Festival of Research 2025

On 23 April, Aarhus University will open its doors to the public for the Festival of Research, taking place in and around the Stakladen events hall from 14:00 to 18:00. This popular knowledge festival is your chance to showcase your research in new and exciting ways. Sign up by 28 February.

Do you want to share your research with a wider audience? Do you enjoy presenting? And would you like to help bring Aarhus University’s research to the general public?

Register now for the Festival of Research on 23 April, where you’ll have the opportunity to present your research to a curious and inquisitive audience of all ages.

The deadline to sign up is Friday 28 February.

At the Festival of Research, there is room for both established researchers and early-career research talents, and all creative ideas are welcome. The more spectacular, inspiring and engaging, the better.  

You can present your research in the following formats:

  • Speed lecture of max. 20 minutes
  • Stand activity in Stakladen
  • Panel debate

You are welcome to take part in more than one format throughout the day.

Festival of Research
The Festival of Research is a nationwide knowledge festival that takes place each year in late April (week 17), with over 700 events and lectures and more than 50,000 visitors. The Festival of Research was established by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, and one of the goals of the festival is to celebrate the fundamental dimension of curiosity in research and to create more relationships between researchers and society. The Festival of Research at Aarhus University normally attracts between 600 and 800 visitors, and the event is free and open to all.
