IT maintenance work on the weekend of 9-10 September

IT maintenance work will affect AU’s IT systems and services and cause interruptions at different times during the weekend of 9 and 10 September 2017.

AU IT and AU Finance and Estates Project Development will carry out maintenance work from Saturday 9 September at 00:01 to Sunday 10 September at 23:59. The work is necessary in order to ensure a high level of operational stability and IT security for AU staff and students.

Throughout the weekend, it will be possible to use AV equipment locally in lecture theatres/classrooms, and work locally on computers – i.e. without being connected to central IT systems, shared drives, the video centre, AU’s network or the internet.

The following services will be affected by the maintenance work:

  • On Saturday from 00:01 to around 20:00, all IT and telephony services will be affected due to the relocation of central IT components to a new data centre.
  • On Sunday from 7:00 to around 16:00, due to updates, the following systems and services will be affected periodically: mit.au.dk (Self-service), the self-service system, STADS, STADS Self-service, WAYF, Navision and financial management systems, IDM, Sharepoint, files on shared drives, Blackboard, Citrix, AU’s websites, specified Windows and Linux servers and Pure.

A detailed plan of the maintenance work will be available from 25 August 2017 at driftstatus.au.dk.
