Jeppe Dørup Olesen is Aarhus University’s new head of innovation
From 1 October, Jeppe Dørup Olesen will be Aarhus University’s new head of innovation and will work to promote innovation and entrepreneurship at the university.
As head of innovation, Jeppe Dørup Olesen will work with transforming Aarhus University’s sub-strategy for knowledge-based spinouts and startups into actual results that create value and growth in both the private and public sector.
“I’m looking forward to getting down to work, so we can create the best possible framework for innovation and entrepreneurship in collaboration with the strong academic environments across the university, so even more researchers and students will want to contribute with their knowledge as innovators.”
Jeppe has been employed as a business developer at Enterprise and Innovation since 1 August 2020. Since 1 September 2021, he has served as acting head of innovation. In addition, he has worked as a research attaché at Innovation Centre Denmark Silicon Valley and as head of AU Talent at Aarhus University.
