New guides for staff development dialogues (SDD)

According to the ‘Annual Schedule for SDDs’, staff development dialogues (SDD) will be held from September to November 2014 at AU.

At Aarhus University, we have a university-wide concept for the dialogues which is available for anyone who wishes to use it.

Interviews concerning seniority

From the age of 55, all AU employees must be offered an ‘interview concerning seniority’ - therefore, this year, an interview guide has been developed to support the dialogue between managers and older staff.

SDDs for PhD students - a pilot project

This year, a new guide for dialogues is being developed: Guide to holding SDDs with PhD students. This material can be used for inspiration in connection with SDDs between managers and PhD students. 

In the autumn of 2014, the draft guide for SDDs is part of a pilot project. Therefore, managers and employees are invited to put the material to the test and provide feedback.

If you are a manager and you want to try out the new guide, please contact your local PhD partner and ask for ‘Guide to holding SDDs with PhD students’.

As feedback, you will be asked to fill in an evaluation form with a few questions regarding the usefulness and relevance of the material.

Based on the feedback, the material will be adjusted and modified and will be available at www.au.dk/en/SDD from August 2015.
