Tax information for guest lecturers
- AU Summer University
From 2026, Summer University guest lecturers will be responsible for applying for their own Danish tax card and personal identification number (CPR number). This change follows a recommendation from the Danish tax authorities, who advise that guest lecturers submit their information directly. We expect this adjustment will make the process more straightforward, increase transparency, and help reduce errors. We will, of course, continue to provide information and support you as best we can throughout the process.
You can apply one month before you start working in Denmark. We will therefore send you a reminder when this date is approaching. The reminder will include a signed version of your employment letter, which you must sign before uploading it to your application.
