Agenda:

  1. Election of chairman and vice-chairman
  2. Handover of tasks from the former chairman and future allocation of responsibilities
  3. Status of events held in the spring 2013 
  4. Preliminary planning of events summer/fall 2013
  5. Other things

1) Jonas was elected as chairman (initially for a 3 month trial period), and Andreas was elected as vice chairman.

2) The former chairman's tasks were examined, and several of them have been delegated so the chair is not as "heavy" as before.

3) Status of events held in the spring 2013

  • January 18: Mulled wine in Klubben, 1-3 pm
  • January 24/1: Extra Munch-event at ARoS
  • February 20: Go-kart rally
  • March 6: Find your inner peace - introduction to meditation
  • March 6: Revue

 

4) Preliminary planning of events summer/fall 2013:

  • May 30: Boat trip (Vibeke Vrang)
  • June 20: Clown and Icecream (Jonas and Annette)
  • August 8: Cirkus Summarum (Jonas)

 

New ideas from members (person in charge in brackets):

  • Leila Trapp: A musical event where Gary Snider (guitar player) entertains and tells about something with music (I can ask him what he has up his sleeve); A mountain bike course in Marselisborg (Kim)
  • Jeanette Gunder Madsen: Event with a clairvoyant (Jonas)
  • Mai Britt Feddersen: Repeat intro to meditation (Amin)
  • Inger Larsen: "Sort sol" in Southern Denmark (Kim)
  • Mette Gebauer Johannsen: Horseback riding/experiencing the nature of Mols Bjerge (Andreas)
  • Tina Lindhardt: Horse racing (Laura)
  • BSS Staff Association Party - we'll try again! (Kim, Mona og Laura and Svend)
  • Christmas Party (Jonas og Annette, is scheduled to December 14)

Suggestions from board members

  • Wine tasting/ tasting event 
  • Music event at Cafe Paradis – e.g. jazz and lecture on music (Amin)
  • Recurrence of the Cocktail event (Laura)

5) Other things

  • Recruitment of new members and increased visibility with external communication:
    External communication about the Staff Association's existence and events is needed to make us more visible and recruit more members at BSS.
    Andreas has created a very good paper for this and he will be the prime mover in this increased effort - but all will follow up and help out at the departments and in other contexts. One suggestion was to contact HR and have them include information about the staff association at every new employment (Andreas and Jonas will follow up).
