About the concert

Carlotta, Anna, Ade and Amber started a regular party at this year's Roskilde Festival when they performed their charming garage rock. If you missed them on the Pavilion stage, you now have the opportunity to experience the Madrid-based quartet in VoxHall this November. 

Hinds has managed to create a contemporary sound with their 60s-based rock. The debut album "Leave Me Alone" was released in January this year - it is heavy on guitar and drum when the lead singers Carlotta and Ana is in front with their charming and youthful attitude on songs with humorous titles such as "Warts" and "Fat Calmed Kiddos ". Hinds themselves say they are inspired by, among others Mac Demarco, who is also an artist with a contemporary retro sound and humor in his music.

Before there were Hinds, there were Deers - a duo that Carlotta and Ana formed back in 2011. In 2014 another band with the same name was established, and the name changed to Hinds, which means female deer. That same year, two became four, when Ade and Dutch-born Amber joined on respectively bass and drums. Since the band has released a full length album and toured with bands such as The Libertines, The Vaccines and Black Lips. 

Everything the four Spanish women in Hinds touches are being praised by international music media like Pitchfork and NME. The debut album was prased by media and they gave it 7.5 out of 10 and 4 out of 5 stars. So you are in for a good time of rock with charm galore when the four women visits Voxhall to November.
