Access to some streets and parking areas in the University Park will be blocked off for the annual Regatta
This year’s Regatta will take place on 24 April in the University Park. Some streets and parking areas in the University Park will be closed immediately before, during and after the event. Get the details below.
On 24 April, it will once again be time to compete for the Golden Bedpan, as AU’s student associations race against each other on the lake in the University Park in the 2026 Regatta.
So if you normally park in or near the University Park, be aware that some streets and parking areas in and around the University Park will be closed on the days leading up to, during and after the Regatta.
This year, closures will be in place between 16 April and 27 April. So you may need to park somewhere else during this period.
You can consult the map and list below to find out which areas will be blocked off and when. Signs will be put up in the affected parking areas.

- Bartholins Allé from building 1324 to the Lakeside Lecture Theatres: 20:00 on 21 April – 20:00 on 25 April
- Bartholins Allé between the Lakeside Lecture Theatres and Vennelyst Boulevard: 17:00 on 23 April – 20:00 on 25 April
- Victor Albecks Vej by building 1342 to Bartholins Allé by building 1324: 17:00 on 23 April – 20:00 on 25 April
