Do you use Eduroam on your phone? Then you need to reactivate your connection
We’re updating Eduroam for security reasons on 1 September, and the update might interrupt your phone’s connection to the network. Read on to find out how to make sure you don’t lose your connection.
Eduroam, AU’s wireless network, needs a new security certificate, and you may need to take steps to keep your network access on your AU phone. This is because if your connection to Eduroam isn’t configured correctly, you’ll lose your connection to the network when the new security certificate is installed on 1 September.
The same goes for any non-AU devices you use to access Eduroam.
Computers provided by AU will not be affected by this change and will continue to function normally.
How to make sure you stay connected to Eduroam
You can take the necessary steps to make sure you stay connected to Eduroam after the update any time before 1 September. Just follow the instructions for the relevant device at eduroam.au.dk.
You need to do this even if you’re not in Denmark
The Eduroam network is an international collaboration between educational and research institutions all over the world. This means that if you use Eduroam and your connection isn’t configured correctly, you will lose access to the network on the devices listed above, no matter where you are.
