New head of the Nat-Tech Administrative Centre announced

Gertrud Lindberg Tefre will take over as administrative centre manager for the joint administrative centre at the faculties of Natural Sciences and Technical Sciences on 1 April. Tefre has a strong leadership background in the higher education sector.

Gertrud Lindberg Tefre is the new head of the Nat-Tech Administrative Centre as of 1 April. She comes to AU from a position as head of HR at VIA University College, where she has also served as acting head of Campus Life and Planning. Tefre also has in-depth knowledge of Aarhus University, where she has held managerial positions, both as head of AU HR’s organisational development and work environment team and as head of HR at Health.

In addition to her organisational insight into Aarhus University and the Danish higher education sector, Tefre has 16 years of leadership experience across organisational development, process optimisation, digitalisation, degree programme resizing and sustainability.

Tefre holds a Master's degree in political science from Aarhus University in addition to post-graduate executive qualifications from Copenhagen Business School and other institutions.

She will replace Niels Damgaard Hansen, who is retiring.

Tefre was selected by a unanimous hiring committee consisting of Knud Møller,head of IT support; Peter René Kithler, Facility Management employee; Deputy Administrative Centre Manager Hanne Vester Rasmussen; Deputy Director for AU HR Anne Lindholm Behnk; Dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences Eskild Holm Nielsen; Acting Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences Erik Østergaard Jensen and University Director Kristian Thorn.
