Success in attracting external research funding in 2022
The annual key figures for research and talent development at the Faculty of Arts have now been published.
In 2022, researchers at the Faculty of Arts obtained external research funding amounting to a total of DKK 229 million from the Independent Research Fund Denmark, other foundations and the EU. This is a significant increase of DKK 31 million compared to 2021 and is the highest level ever.
“The increased research funding shows that Arts has a very strong research environment which also plays a central role internationally. We have made a big leap in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings to number 41. This is the highest ranking in the entire Nordic region and at Aarhus University”, says vice-dean Anne Marie Pahuus, referring to the 2023 key figures.
