The administrative process at Arts

As a consequence of the senior management team´s announcement from October 22nd 2014, the administration at Arts will have to undergo an inspection. We now have an endorsed plan for this process.

In the future, the majority of those staff members who, until now, have been referring to the front offices under the different administrative divisions, will instead be referring to the Administrative Centre Arts (ACA) In the weeks and months to come, we need to agree on which tasks are to be solved in connection with the departments, and discuss the ways in which we may be able to benefit from adjusting the collaboration between ACA and the department secretariats.

The process plan is ready

We now have a plan for this process, which will be running until the summer of 2015. The plan has been approved by the academic council and the temporary liaison committee for ACA. Firstly, a working group is to make out a list of focus areas. During the course of November and early December 2014, there will be a number of dialogue meetings with the various departments, in order to prioritize the efforts.   

These tasks are to be solved in two phases: Phase one will focus upon those adjustments that can be carried out immediately, including relocating various tasks, and, perhaps, employees as well (February 2015). Phase two will be dealing with those tasks that require a longer implementation period and/or a more in-depth analysis (July 2015). See the entire schedule at the Arts Staff Portal.

The working group is established
